So if you guys have good memory, you’ll know I have this little tradition where I pick up a Tiffany & Co charm from each capital city of the world when I visit it! In fact about two years ago I did a post on this very topic π Check out my first post regarding it to learn how the idea came about π
I naturally kept with tradition when I visited Europe and picked up three charms for the three capital cities for each country π
Italy
Gelato for Roma, Italy, because I ate so much of it there!
Germany
Beer in Berlin, Germany. Nuff Said!
France
And this goes without saying! There was no perfect city other than Paris, France to purchase the Eiffel Tower!
As my charm collection slowly grows, I decided to purchase a little jewellery box to play house to them all π You can see my Europe charms sitting nicely on the top row~
I just love looking at my little jewellery box, as weird as that sounds! Mostly because each charm has such wonderful memories associated to them~ They all have their own meaning regarding why I chose them, who was with them. So weird that I can still remember each time I visited Tiffany & Co to purchase them. I can’t wait to travel more of the world and fill the rest of the box!
Do you guys have any other traditions you carry out when you travel?

I love your tradition, I wished I thought of it too!
I have a similar tradition but with fridge magnets, I buy a cheesy touristy one every trip and put it on my fridge, the fridge now resembles a giant scrapbook!

I found this blog from a search for RMS Beauty… I remember you from ages and ages ago, in the big anime website days. I never had a site for very long, but boy did I love your webdesign skills! I will enjoy going through your past entries, and I’ve added you to my reader. It’s nice to see a familiar face on these gigantic interwebs. π
Celina says
Aww yes! SuzakuNU π Which I still own and run, but it’s been pretty inactive for the longest time! Aww thanks for leaving me a comment, such a nice walk down memory lane π
Lilpil says
that’s so sweet Celina, do you just store them in the box or do you wear it out as well.
Can’t wait till my turn for Europe, definitely going to be shopping up a storm.
Celina says
At the moment I store them in the box, haven’t worn any yet though I still eventually π For now they are more like a “collectors” item to me than wearable.
Eden-Avalon says
Beautiful tradition! And i’d be so eager to wear the finished product as a bracelet.
Celina says
Yes! I can’t imagine how old I’ll be by that time π
Sue says
This is a great travel tradition, one you will always look back with fond memories. If you want to wear them, you can get the T&Co charm bracelet with the links that open and close, so you don’t have to permanently solder the charms on. That way you can just wear one or two at a time and switch often. Enjoy!
Celina says
Thanks! And that’s a great idea π
Anne Abdool says
how can I purchase some of the inclusion bracelets. I am interested in the pink one
Celina says
I would check out your local Louis Vuitton, or their website and see what’s available π The colours are seasonal!
