You may have noticed I skipped a week of posting photos from Hong Kong, that’s not because I had nothing to show, far from it! More like I was too busy finishing up my final week to sit down in the evenings to edit photos…. okay I was going out every night instead, hanging out with co-workers & friends etc, I know shocking right? What kind of a blogger am I!? Going out and socialising with physical human beings, it’s appalling! I’m truly sorry for the slip up and will do my best to uphold the stereotype of a recluse blogger π
BUT that means I’ve got two posts worth of photos and decided to split them over the course of two days π
My team took me out for drinks on my last Friday night in Hong Kong π It was a really nice place too, awesome view! :O Like in the movies!
Boss-chan wanted to take me and a co-worker out for the night, so on the Star Ferry we go…
And in Lan Kwai Fong we arrive! A popular drinking / clubbing / expat area of Hong Kong in Central!
Wheee~~~~
Sooo crowded and humid X_x;!
First stop is Al’s Diner, who played some really old songs that made me feel very young (because I had no idea what the songs were) π‘
Jello Shots for only $5-$6AU a pop, I took two of these, and mind you, they tasted AWFUL! >_< But it only took two to get me rather tipsy! I'm a cheap drunk π‘
But the rest powered on through JΓ€gerbombs and Beer O_o
Phew, exhausted, itchy (allergic reaction to alcohol) and rather tipsy X_x;
The very next morning Toby arrived! And this is pretty much how we spent most of the day, him taking photos of stuff as I stood behind and looked bored… or took photos of him :3
World’s longest escalator!!… so very lacklustre :/
Cookies and Cream ice cream :9 Omgosh I could go for some now π
Stay tuned for part two tomorrow!

Awww I wanna go to HONG KONG tooooooooooo. Loving these personal posts which give us a glimpse into your life outside blogging π
Celina says
Yay! I’m so glad you enjoy π I want to do them more now π
Tobias says
You’re such a photo ninja! I’m far less sneaky about taking photos of you… maybe I should start to be more ninja-esque so I get some of you without your hands over your face π
Celina says
Firstly, I’m little. So being a ninja is just part of my genetics. You’re big, you can’t be a ninja.

Love the photos, thanks for sharing! I so wanna go there too one day.
Celina says
Thanks, I hope you manage to go one day~ I want to travel the world so much more now!

Love all of your HK photos. Sorry that you had an allergic reaction to the alcohol e_e But other than that it seems like you had a great time! That view from the ferry is STUNNING. *_*
Celina says
Hehe, yeah I already knew I was allergic but if the mood is there, I may as well part-take. Aside from moments like these I never drink alcohol so a few hours of rashes after is fine. The ferry ride is amazing, it’s only 2HK dollars so around 25cents US and having the sea breeze and city view is just what really made Hong Kong great π
