First up, this is not a beauty video! :O But it may be a video current and future bloggers and youtubers may find interesting, and that’s how I film my tutorials and take self portraits when I am flying solo!
The cameras I have covered in this video are:
- Apple iPhone 4S
- Canon IXUS 125
- Canon Legria HFM31
- Canon DSLR EOS 600D
I wanted to show you guys how to film tutorials and take self portraits without anyone else’s help! I know a lot of youtuber especially struggle with this, hence one of the reasons they tend to only film indoors in their room and never mix it up. Well now you can mix it up! It’s all about being creative and pushing the limits a little π
I did film this entire video completely on my own, it took me 3-4 hrs to do so, because filming yourself ‘filming yourself’ is not as easy as I thought! rofl!
Hope you found the video useful, it’s the longest video I’ve ever uploaded! Stay tuned for next week where I will be releasing my first Halloween makeup tutorial π Have a great weekend!

Great post Celina~ It was really interesting to see how you create all the amazing videos and tuts!! I have all but the cam corder but I’m such a noob with the dslr (canon 500D) that I want to sell it. I want the flip screen hahaha. Also, I have no idea how to edit videos! Maybe you can do a tutorial on that next XD C u on Sunday! xx

Excellent tips, Celina! Love the video, and thanks so much for the tip on getting DSLR remotes on eBay. I didn’t think that there’d be remotes compatible with my old DSLR (400D), until I checked it out after watching your video. And it’s exactly the same as the one you have!
*add to cart, BUY!* π
PS: A question for either a future blog post or video – where do you get royalty-free or free music for your YouTube videos? I don’t intend to make any videos (it’s just not my thing, plus I abhor looking at myself in videos. Funny enough, I LOVE pictures of me! :P), but I’d still love to know nevertheless, and I’m sure your readers who do YouTube videos would like to know too. Don’t want ’em to get into trouble by using copyrighted music. Thanks!
