A few weeks back, a group of my friends and I drove up to visit the Blue Lotus Water Garden, we’re always looking for new interesting places to explore in Melbourne and given we are all a little bit photography crazy (you can tell by one of the photos above), this seemed perfect!
Despite the hot weather, the gardens were stunning. Lotus flowers as far as the eyes could see, there were even people who came in to paint the gardens. It was so beautiful to walk through and enjoy the serenity and peace it had to offer.
After the gardens we headed over to the Innocent Bystander for lunch! Everyone ordered a pizza, but I decided to be different (also I wasn’t really in the mood for pizza) and went with a few tapas for myself, which were delicious 🙂 The deco is very barn shed meets modern, never seen anything like it before! I think those who can appreciate wines would really love this place as they had barrels and barrels for wine for people to taste and purchase.
All in all, it was just a lovely day~!
