A brand new year, a chance to start anew. A clean slate to eat better, live better and be better. And of course the perfect opportunity to share with you some key resolutions I hope to meet in 2015 🙂
Last year I promised myself that I would treat myself better, travel more and seek opportunities. Safe to say I actually did for once commit to all three, which let’s be honest, is a first for me! So what do I have planned for next year?
Travel
With literally zero annual leave left, I may need to dig deep into my pockets to purchase some for 2015. I’m at a point in my life where travel is one of my top priority. Experiencing new cultures, meeting new people, learning more about the world and myself has helped me grow so much as a person, and is truly invaluable. I can’t see this slowing down at all, at least not anytime soon. There is so much for the world to explore, and so little time. But it’s important for both Toby and myself, and thanks to working right through Christmas and New Years, I’ve managed to recover quite a bit of leave I thought I wouldn’t have otherwise.
Be Positive
Pretty generic statement, but truly being positive and positive thinking is a choice. I can choose to dwell and be negative, or, I can choose to be happy, enjoy my life and accept only good thoughts and energy.
I want to invest more into things that matter. More specifically, I want to invest in my family and loved ones. Rather than stressing over the things I don’t have, I want to focus on the things I do. I want to change the way I perceive and allow negativity to control the way I live my life. easier said than done, but really only I can make that change. Do things that make me happy and appreciate the positives in my life.
Healthy
I’m going to make a real effort, the older I get, the more I realise that health shouldn’t be taken for granted. I fell ill only twice in 2014 and my goal for 2015 is no sickness! Healthy eating, become more active and referring to the last resolution, positive thinking for a healthy mind.
Those are my 3 key resolutions for 2015, are you guys making any?
