Yay! The working week is over, time to kick up my heels and relaaax π Well, I’ve got a bit of work to do, but given I don’t really have any other weekends plans, it doesn’t seem like such a bad idea π
So I was wondering, since I’ll be here for another 4 weeks and don’t have my usual blogging set up with me, what sort of posts do you guys want to see? I’m already kinda getting into the asian makeup scene, because honestly there is an abundance of them here and so so cheap too! But anything else specific to HK? I’ve already been asked to do a haul post, which I’ve never done before, but am happy to provide if you are curious π Anyways, please let me know! Or if you have any ideas, that would be amazing π
Life here so far has been lonely, but great. Work is fantastic, my co-workers are amazing, but it does get lonely without my family / friends and common environment π If only I could port them all here, I’d be having the time of my life! Oh well, that aside the other frustration I seem to be facing is the fact that everyone and their mum thinks I’m a local :/ I know I know, I look Chinese so of course. But it doesn’t suck any less to constantly tell people “Sorry I don’t speak Chinese”. Oh well, I’ll cope and maybe learn some Cantonese in the process hehe
Thank you for the kind comments thus far, you sure know how to make a lonely girl feel less lonely <3 Have a lovely weekend π

I’d love to see more photos of your world right now π Where are you staying? What’s your commute to work like? Do you have any (nicer XD) views from the office? How about just hopping on a train and taking pics from the window?
HK is such a different world from Melbourne, I’d like to see some of it through your eyes π

Fantastic suggestion! I will make sure to carry my little point and shoot with me everywhere π

Hi Celina! Hope you’re doing well in HK! I loved HK whilst I was there, but of course, I was only there for a week versus your five weeks course.
In 5 weeks I’m sure you’ll discover lots of shopping points of interest there. What about a “Beauty Shopping in HK” post? Or even just general shopping. π
Take care, C, and enjoy HK whilst you’re there! π

Great suggestion! I live to so many beauty shopping stores here so I’ve got a ton to recommend π

I wouldn’t mind seeing some HK fads at the moment, like whats seems to be popular colour wise, any ‘it’ make up accessories that are in at the moment stuff like that. Oh and if they have any wacky asian beauty or fashion products. Also any asian remedies that claim to improve the skin like boiled snake skin or what not, not really related to make up but it would be interesting to see or hear about asian remedies in comparison to a western perspective on health/beauty. Enjoy HK and eat some beef brisket noodles, their cheap and awesome π

Lol I shall do my best, there are certainly some strange fads I can see going on. Fashion wise, they have the cutest dresses here!
