Well, my five weeks in Hong Kong is up and it’s time to go home, I sure hope the airline lets my luggage on board 🙁 May be slightly overweight… no surprise there, despite already shipping some stuff back -_-;;
I have to admit when I was first asked to work in Hong Kong I was extremely reluctant. I’d never lived on my own before, let alone a foreign country I couldn’t speak the language in. But it worked out well in the end, I feel like I’ve learnt a lot, grown a lot and will be eternally grateful for the experience and to the people who pushed me to go. I would do it all again and more in a heart beat!
Strangely, it’s given me a new perspective on the direction I want to take both my blogging and youtubing “career” as well as my actual full-time career. I want every piece of work / blog post / video / costume I put out there to be the best each time. None of this rushing to pump out as much content as possible. Quality over quantity… if my best takes longer to produce, then it’ll just take longer.
I’ve brought home a ton of stuff to show you guys, as well as lots of cute prizes for future giveaways 😀 The first will be held on my YouTube channel to celebrating reaching 1000 subscribers! Absolutely insane :O
Thank you to all the people who supported me, kept reading my blog, watching my videos whilst I was away. I tried my best to maintain it with whatever dribble I could come up with hehe. Once home I’ll put my “creative” cap on and get working 😉
And if you guys are reading this, thanks to all the amazing people I met in Hong Kong, you are all amazing and I love all of you~ If you ever come to Melbourne, Australia, you know who to call ;D I promise to show you around <3

Glad to have you back in Oz but I’m also glad to hear you enjoyed your time in Hong Kong and that you gained a new perspective on things. It’s always good to challenge yourself and step out of your comfort zone, even though it might be scary at first!

So very true, it was a very tough step to take but like you said, a very important one to make! I feel so much stronger now, like I could take on a ton more in life without fear 😀 It’s still great to be home 😀
