Since purchasing my first pair of designer shoes in New York last year, I’ve essentially opened up the flood gates to a world of stunningly beautiful shoes.
If you followed my daily vlogs throughout December (or a little series I like to call “Once Upon a December”) you’ll know I have a slight obsession with my cat, Casper π (If you’re curious to know how Casper came about, then feel free to watch the Story of Casper vlog I put together).
So when I saw these darling shoes floating in the blogsphere, I was hooked! To be honest though, it wasn’t till I saw them sitting at David Jones did I even think of buying them, mostly because I’m not a huge fan of buying shoes online if I haven’t tried the exact same version and size in person. But there they sat, at the David Jones counter. So I tried them on and it was a match made in heaven.
I hopped on Net a Porter and picked up a pair for myself ($300 cheaper than purchasing a pair in store at David Jones) and love them! What I love most about these shoes (excluding the adorable cat face) is how solid they feel. They don’t feel like typical flats you’d pick up at cheaper retailers, they feel comfortable, solid and come with a very small heel to give your feet that extra lift and body. Just another great benefit for people my height π
I love them! To be honest, I’ve never analysed shoes in such detail before but once you start, you can’t stop and I’m both looking forward and fearing the cost of my next pair of designer shoes lol

These shoes were my first designer shoe purchase. I fell in love with them the first time I was browsing on Net A Porter. They are just so cute & fun!

Yay! Do you find you get much use out of them? I’m always scared to wear my designer shoes too much!
