A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be invited our by the lovely people at Dior to experience some of the new products they have released this month, as you may have already seen on the blog earlier this week. Today I wanted to share with you two new skin care products they have added to their Dior Prestige White Collection line. I’ve personally never tried the line before so I was extra excited to see what it was like.
The first was Dior’s Le Nectar Blanc ($460AUD), a concentrated whitening serum designed to eliminate dark spots and provide anti-aging benefits. After which the second product Dior’s La Creme Eclaircissante ($460AUD) is applied on top, which is designed to be a whitening moisturiser to also help eliminate the appearance of dark spots as well as anti-aging.
I’ve been using these together for a couple of weeks now, even though the instructions do state that results are visible after one month. I don’t have many dark spots besides my freckles that I’m trying to eliminate, but I can say that consistent use really leaves my skin looking brighter in the morning after. I use this as my night time treatment and I’m surprisingly enjoying the subtle rose scent that comes with this product. It’s more a fresh rose skincare scent rather than the typical “old lady” rose scent that comes with some makeup products.
I’m really keen to see if my skin will look very different after a few months of use so I’ll definitely let you guys know if my feelings change. What I love is the little spoon that comes with the moisturiser to use to helps prevent contamination (I personally use cotton buds for all my other skincare products that come in a jar, never ever use with my bare fingers) and the whole set honestly feels incredible luxe!
Given that, and the incredible price point, you definitely want to visit a counter and try this out in person first. I’m fairly confident you’ll love it at first ‘test” but you’ll certainly need to have a long and hard think about the price. I can say the products are amazing, but whether they work with your life style and budget is a very personal choice. As a beauty blogger who probably already spends way too much on her makeup and skincare products, you’ll likely find me checking out the other products within the Prestige range now, because I’m addicted like that.
Additionally, I recommend checking out Val’s blog post too as she’s included some great photos of what the product actually looks like. If you’re keen, you can check these out at a Dior counter at either Myer or David Jones.
