I know this palette is old news now, but I love it and feel the need to blog about it! Quick run down, this palette contains 6 eye shadows, with the first shadow containing a little bit of shimmer, the rest are complete mattes. They range from skin tone, to taupes to browns to blacks.
My everyday work makeup is relatively simple, often I wear a single light tanned matte coloured shade all over my lid. (And honestly I do this more to counter the oils from my eyelids else it will cause my liner to smudge) and sometimes I’ll add a matte taupe colour into my crease if I have time and then on casual Fridays I tend to add a darker brown matte shade to the outer corner of my eye just for the hell of it 🙂
As you can see, mattes are my thing during the week! So when this palette came along, I knew it would be perfect for me! Not to mention the black shade which works amazingly well as an eyeliner. And the pigmentation is amazing!
I love how travel friendly this palette is, and I love even more how easy it is to create my typical everyday neutral eye look and quickly turn it into an evening look.
Safe to say, this palette is perfect for anyone who loves neutral eyes (something I’m quite addicted to)
I’ve actually filmed a video finding MAC dupes for this palette if needed, but I haven’t gotten around to editing it yet >_> Hopefully it will be out soon!
If you’re interested, you can purchase this palette for $27US off Sephora or for around $29AU off Beauty Bay.
