First, I must apologise for the lack of posts last week! Really the hours and stress at work (what’s new) just really sucked all the energy I had for Fables and so I just couldn’t keep up with it! But I’m currently enjoying a nice long weekend to recharge my batteries and I’m back and blogging again π Okay, on to the actual post!
The Chocolate Soleil bronzers from Too Faced have been quite the rage, especially online since its release. No doubt thanks to the beautiful cocoa powder smell~ I purchased the original chocolate version last year and found myself only using it for photo shoots, if that, because the powder was just a bit too dark to look natural on my lighter skin tone.
So when I heard Too Faced was releasing a Milk Chocolate version, I knew I had to give it a shot and see how it worked, and thankfully it does!
Besides the delicious chocolate scent you get from this powder, I love the fact that it is matte with no shimmer. Without shimmer, this makes for the most perfect contouring powder, which is really all I use this for.
There isn’t much more to say about this product, it does the job, it does it well and it is my current favourite matte bronzer.
If you’re interested in this bronzer, you can purchase it for $29US at Sephora, which is where I purchased mine via a mail forwarding service.

LOL I think you upgraded, though I’ve never tried Guerlain’s bronzer before it is after all Guerlain!

Love this bronzer! It’s pretty much the only one that works on my skin tone this time of year.

That’s awesome, I wish it came in blush form so I could have an excuse to use it all the time π

I am a NC30. Which one do you recommend for me?
Celina says
I would recommend the original chocolate bronzer, not the milk chocolate π
Lucyana says
Does the milk choc bronzer turns a bit orangey in your skin? coz my skin is a very light/fair skin tone. i’m asian too, and currently looking for the right bronzer for my skin tone^^, btw I’m N115/ N 125 in makeup forever foundation…
thanks

I don’t experience that personally, but if you’re unsure I would def check and maybe test it in store? Testing in store would be the best way to go, personally I found the bronzer to be more neutral based rather than orange, so hopefully it should work with you too π
