When Lime Crime first contacted me and asked if I’d like to try out some of their products, I thought they’d send through a lipstick or two. But when I received their package I was beyond excited, as you know I’ve already reviewed their China Doll eye shadow palette which I loved, and today I’ll be reviewing their glosses (I’ll be doing their lipsticks another day).
These lip glosses are not like any other glosses I’ve ever tried, their pigmentation is incredibly intense. Just a couple of swipes on the lips gives the richest coverage. I really enjoy the scent as well, it has a mild sweet vanilla, similar to the lipsticks. Not to mention how cute the packaging is.
The glosses have a pretty sticky consistency, which some people love and others hate, the benefit of a sticky gloss however is that they tend to last longer than other glosses on the lips. I’d say I can go a good 2 or so hours (so long as I’m not eating a full blown meal) before I would consider reapplying.
Not sure I would use these glosses everyday at work, I tend to reach for more subtle nudes and pinks during the day, but I can definitely see myself reaching for these for photo shoots, the richness in colour would be amazing in photos π
If you’re interested, each gloss goes for $16.99US at Lime Crime.

Wow, talk about a brand that has come a long way. I remember when she first launched the eye shadows and how excited I was to get my hands on them! Now the range has grown so much. These look gorgeous! Also the packaging! Ahhh. π

Ow, the red looks really nice on you – not shure about the gold though. I guess thats a matter of taste or situation π
