During my visit to Europe, I was determined to try out some of the “local” makeup that you can’t purchase in Australia. Whilst wandering around Rome, I discovered Collistar! I’ve since learnt that Collistar is actually quite a big brand, just one I apparently have never heard of before :O
I purchased a few items from their line, but the first I want to review were the Rossetto Design lipsticks. Generally speaking, these have really lovely pigmentation and last a decent amount of time, especially the darker shade Melograno. I had to re-apply every few hours. I wouldn’t consider them drying, but they don’t help keep your lips moist at all, so if you do suffer from naturally dry lips, you’ll need to apply a balm first then the lipstick. But if you’re lips, like mine get dry throughout the day then you’ll need to re-apply the balm, then the lipstick again… which can get a bit messy :/
The packaging is a little strange, not very straight forward and can be a little hard to store away if you’re used to nicely shaped bullets. Never the less, it is still a very interesting design!
I cannot remember how many euros these lipsticks were, though I don’t think it was anything outrageous. It’s apparently available throughout Europe π

Melograno is a stunning shade .. the shape of the lipstick case is interesting though not practical for storage ..

Exactly, right now I keep them in my handbag, but they are not going to sit right in my drawer when I take them out π
