One of Bobbi Brown’s newest products is their Bronzer and Blush Duo compact from the limited edition Desert Twilight collection. It contains a bronzer in Bahama Brown and a blush in Pink Peony.
Unlike the Lancome Blush Subtil Palette I reviewed a few days ago, this is not subtle. In fact the product is pretty pigmented, even more so if you apply with a synthetic brush. For that reason you need be careful with your application here, just take a little at a time and build if needed.
The quality is great, these powders blend very well and don’t take too much elbow grease to get a soft flush if that’s what you’re after.
My only complain is that this only comes in one shade, and unfortunately this shade is not suitable for my skin tone. The bronzer is far too dark, and ends up making my face look a bit muddy (I’m NC15/20). In fact I had to adjust by throwing on a darker foundation so I didn’t look to horrid on photo… at least I tried!
Excuse my slightly “dead” look here, I can’t remember if I actually did feel rather ghoulish or whether I went over the top with my foundation / powder… I’m gonna go with the former!
You can purchase this palette for $36US online, this collection to the best of my knowledge had yet to hit Aussie shores yet! (I’ll update this post once I do get the details however)

Love the look of the compact, it is really pretty. Wish the bronzer came in a lighter shade though!

Same! I would love to use this more if it did!
