Another neutral palette you say? Why yes! The market is saturated with them and as a dedicated beauty blogger, it’s my job to at least attempt to work through them, one palette at a time.
Fortunately the lovely people at Benefit Cosmetics provided this palette for me in my MBBE goodie bag to potentially review. Admittedly it’s something I am thankful for, I couldn’t possibly justify, nor afford to purchase every palette that exists out there to swatch for the blog, so any help I can get is never a bad thing!
This particular palette contains a cream concealer in shade 02, and three eyeshadows, a highlighter, crease colour and liner shade.
The shadows swatch and apply beautifully! I only needed to dip my brush in once to pick up enough for an even application all over the lid. The three shadows provided compliment each other perfectly to create an even gradient.
However the one issue I have is the concealer. My skin shade is NC 15-20, and the concealer provided is much too dark for me. It would be nice if the palettes were given different concealer shades, or better yet maybe instead of concealer, make it a primer? That way it can be universally used rather than limited to only a select few.
The other thing that concerns me is having a cream product sitting with powdered products, first there is contamination and then there is the matter of pro-longed exposure, means the concealer is likely to dry out before the palette can be completely used up. I can’t say for sure that’s what will happen, but it’s something on my mind.
If you already know that the concealer in shade 02 matches your skin tone, then I think this palette would be perfect for you!

Oh I remember seeing this in a Sephora I don’t frequent (one in JC Penny). I wasn’t too impressed in person, and probably wouldn’t pick this up because the concealer is suuuuuuuuper light for me. With that said, this is a pretty good set of colors if they aren’t shades you already own.

I wish we could even pick the concealer shade they provided 🙁 It feels like such a waste having it there and not being able to use it *sigh*
