The Prada Reveal Foundation is part of Prada’s first line of makeup in 2023, which was something I instantly had to jump on! I’m fascinated by the makeup quality, range and wear from what are traditional luxury wear lines (I might go nuts if Louis Vuitton every released their line as they were my first luxury brand ever). I’ve managed to picked up a few items from Prada, and the first one I wanted to feature was their Prada Reveal Foundation in LN15. This beautiful light to medium coverage liquid foundation is available for either $70USD or $93AUD online.
Coverage & Wear
Right off the bat the formula had a good thickness to it that made it easy to spread and blend out. I found the coverage to be pretty much somewhere between light and medium, and was a challenge to build to anything more without becoming too heavy or thick. So I definitely think this foundation is great for those looking for a bit more of a minimal makeup look, certainly nothing close to full coverage. If you’re comfortable wearing a light amount, I felt it looked stunning and seamless on my skin.
In terms of wear, I had mixed experiences. If my skin was doing well, and I had a good skincare morning and went in light I found the foundation sat beautifully on my face and lasted all day. However if I even attempted to apply more than say 1 pump (maybe 1.5 would be okay), the foundation started to look a bit streaky and patchy on my face.
Which to be honest, for a foundation of this price I was really hoping for more, till I remembered that I was mostly paying for the brand name! This foundation works best if your skin doesn’t need a ton of coverage to begin with so you can go in with a small amount and light hand for the best results.

Longevity
Similar to what I mentioned above, the wear time throughout the day really came down to how much foundation I used. If I stuck with a single pump which allowed me to completely blend this foundation down it was amazing and lasted me till the end of the day, safe for a bit of wear around the nose (which is pretty typical for me). However on the days I tested this with 2-3 pumps, I mean, the foundation lasted till the end of the day but it just looked a bit too patchy for my liking.

Skin Benefits & Scent
It would be remiss of me to not specifically call out the skincare benefits Prada has mentioned with this particular foundation. I personally haven’t noticed any significant difference to my skin as a result of wearing this foundation, but I’m a huge skincare user so any changes will likely come from that instead (or my sleep, diet, stress levels, genetics…). Prada claims this foundation contains Vitamin E to improve skin tone, Niacinamide to enhance hydration and skin radiance and lastly also has Lactobacillus Extra Complex to be refine skin texture. All wonderful ingredients that I personally seek for in my skincare products, so always a plus if my foundation also contains them!
I always like to call out scent because to me scent is a major thing, and as someone who doesn’t wear perfume, I’m highly sensitive to any kind of scent. I will said this foundation had an elegant perfume scent that I can only assume may be from one of their pre-existing fragrances that I’m not personally familiar with. However it was very subtle and not at all overwhelming, to the point that it has no influence over whether I enjoyed this foundation or not. Still think it’s worth mentioning.
Overall
Personally, I really love this foundation. And that’s because it suits my personal needs for work, where I only need the smallest amount to even out my skin tone and lighten the darkness under my eyes. You can see in the photos that it blends beautifully into my skin and almost appears seamless. I’m not the biggest fan of the huge price tag, however I do appreciate the Prada does off refills for this foundation that are around $20AUD cheaper than the original bottle, so that with needing so little product each time means it’s something I can definitely see myself repurchasing in the future.
That said, for all the reasons mentioned above I can see why the opinions for this foundation online are pretty split because it doesn’t give holy grail vibes. This foundation is definitely not for everyone and so if you can grab a sample because committing to buying, that would be my best recommendation. Or at least try it out in person at the makeup stand first!
