Mirenesse recently released a new range of nail polish they’ve called Bullet Proof Nail Laquer. They claim that no base nor top coat is needed, but I would personally at the very lease still recommend a base coat if you’re concerned about staining your nails (when you swatch polishes as much as I do, nail staining is a big issue!) These polishes are highly pigmented, in fact only one coat is needed, and on their own have an amazing shine. I really don’t think a top coat is needed unless you want to ensure they last an extra long time.
Also, I’m not 100% what’s up with the spelling of “Laquer”, I kept typing Lacquer by accident, no idea if it was a misspell or perhaps misspelt on purpose! Either way, yes I can spell Lacquer, but for this review I’m just following what’s printed on the bottles.
These polishes were kindly provided by Mirenesse, they sent me three colours from their range of eleven!
All swatches are two coats with no top coat.
Flapper Pash
A vibrant bright pink crème polish, out of the three, this is the most wearable shade, and is truly perfect for summer as well.
Berry Boa
A deep maroon crème polish, I would highly recommend using a base coat for this polish, just because out of all the polishes, this is the one that seemed prone to potential staining. And I say that because it took the most elbow grease to completely remove. That aside, it’s a gorgeous polish, perfect for winter or nights out.
Charleson Me
A purple metallic polish with silver glitters, the most exciting polish from the three provided. The glitters are quite small, and don’t leave your nails feeling gritty. They leave a very smooth finish, which is a huge plus for glitter polishes. I’m contemplating wearing this for a new years eve party.
You can purchase this polishes for $29.95AU each from Mirenesse.

Have you ever timed how long it takes to paint your nails? I imagine you’re very fast with all that swatching. 🙂

Thankfully Charleson Me isn’t a pain to take off like other glitters. If all glitter were like that, I’d be a lot happier! I love wearing glitters but the pain of removing them means they sit on my shelf and stay pretty (and unworn).

Agreed! It’s one of the reasons I stay far away from glitters now! SO hard to find good ones 🙁

Is it easy to remove???
