I’ve never dabbled in Estée Lauder nail polish before, so when I saw this collection I thought it would be a great opportunity to dabble since during the working week if I do wear polish, nude colours are my go-to colours.
This collection called “French Nudes”, represents the relaxed and casual nature of springtime in Paris. This collection is designed to enhance your nails rather than make any sort of statement with colour. Overall, I was pretty impressed with these polishes. They were pigmented enough, applied smooth, I didn’t experience any particular issues with chipping etc.
As always, 2 coats with no top coat.
Bittersweet
A deep chocolaty brown with just a hint of red crème, reminds me of dark chocolate.
Diabolique
A creamy cocoa shade, also with a slightly reddish tint.
So Vain
A milky beige crème with very soft silver micro-shimmer, and the only polish to contain shimmer.
Nudite
A true nude shade that could easily blend in my skin tone.
Ballerina Pink
A soft pink semi-transparent polish, perfect wearable shade for everyday.

I can’t stand Estee Lauder’s nail polishes. I’ve owned a couple and they always seem to chip like crazy, even with a top coat. However, It’s been years since I’ve bought one, so it’s possible that the formulation has improved.

Wow those are beautiful and so so so shiny! They look like Shellac! How long did they take to dry?

Not that long! Like maybe 20-30 mins tops?
