The infamous MAC Venomous Villian Disney Collection was released last Monday in stores, and released online just yesterday morning. Gotta admit, despite the cheap drawings on the packaging, I loved this collection and made sure to “invest” π
FYI, this is the only time I’ve actually decided to keep all the items in the cardboard boxes they came in, seriously the sketches are beautiful and like most other bloggers, I wished the sketches were on the packaging instead!
First on the list were these lovely duo eyeshadows, I’m not labelling this post a review, just because I haven’t used these shadows daily for a period of time like I do for all other reviews. But they were just so beautiful, and I desperately wanted to photograph them. I’m starting to really enjoying capturing the beauty in cosmetics in my photographs, and what better place to share them than here~ π
Based on my first impressions, these eyeshadows look amazing in the pan. How practical they will be for everyday use in general, I’d say based on the swatches not a whole lot. It’s basically just a lot of black eyeshadow with bits of coloured specks. But I honestly haven’t used them as extensively as I should to make any real comment, so keep in mind that’s just my first impression and swatches.
So pretty~~ It’s like art π

These are so pretty! I just knew i’d never get the wear out of them myself.
You should do a look based solely on these shadows.
P.S. Your photos are fantastic!!

That’s a great idea, I want to release a Halloween look the Friday before 31st of Oct, so I will certainly see how I can use these in that! =D
Thanks so much π

Celina, we should do a Villains lookbook entry |D
My two purchases from the VV collection were Cruella’s brilliant red lipstick and her apricot lipgloss. It’d be fun if we did a Halloween villainy post >D
Celina says
YES! We should! =D We can each do a character~~ I know Shi would be up for that too!!

Oh goodness, YES. A lookbook entry on how to recreate their venomous villainy for the modern day girl |D
