This happened a while back, and I’m not actually sure if I’ve posted about this before since I’ve had these photos for ages! But can’t seem to find a corresponding post O_o
So every time I look at my beloved Bobbi Brown concealer, I’m reminded of the fact that cream products + hand bag + hot day in car = NO!
Often I do my makeup on the go because I’m highly prepared and organised that way, and occasionally if my skin isn’t looking flash I’ll dab on a bit of concealer.
Unfortunately I left my favourite Bobbi Brown concealer in my hand bag…. my very expensive hand bag 🙁 And it proceeded to melt under the heat of the day *sigh*. The result was concealer stains inside my handbag 🙁 and half my concealer missing. Sad because Bobbi Brown have discounted this particular product (in this packaging) and I really love it 🙁 *sigh* So yep, beware of hot weather and cream products 🙁
Sorry to hear about this. I can’t live without concealers. Is there any way of reviving this concealer again? Possibly store this in a refrigerator probably will do the trick.
ohh..so sorry about your handbag:(( well something similar to this happened to me though not this bad.I had kept my mac cream concealer at the back portion of rear seat in the car and the car was out in the parking for hours with sun shining on it..result concealer melted..i kept it in refrigerator after that:)

Oh no! Were you able to get the concealer stains out? If it’s on the lining of the bag, maybe the Coach fabric cleaner might help, I have some purses made of their “signature” fabric (the satin-y kind) and I’ve used it to remove stains on the exterior, it does a pretty good job of lightening them.
omg this is really bad, 🙁 I always keep my make up in a separate make up bag.
That majorly sucks. 🙁 Hopefully it’s still usable? The Australian sun is sooo harsh; I’ve got a few MAC lipsticks in the mail for me and I’m hoping that they don’t become melted before they reach my hands. x
so sorry about the concealer and the handbag. i’ll cry if this happens to me!
I get paranoid when I leave softer lipsticks in the car on warm days. Sometimes I take them in with me but the BF complains. Once he left his EOS lip balm in the car and it totally melted into vegetable oil!
