A while ago the people at Hello Kitty sent me a selection of products from their latest cosmetic range, if you’re a frequent visitor of Priceline you’ll have noticed a bunch of these items popping up near the beginning of November.
I contemplated how I would share these products with you on Fables, whether to just do individual posts on each product and only show a few or maybe use them in a FOTD kind of post. So I did on a poll on my Facebook account, turns out you guys want to see all these products categories based on lips, eyes and face / other. And that’s exactly what you’ll get! I’ll include photos along with a couple of lines with my thoughts on the product.
This first post will be for eye related products~
Hello Kitty Duo Eyeshadow – La Dame au Camelia
The eyeshadows were my favourite aspect of this collection, I found them to be soft, buttery (without any fall out) and applied beautifully with my fingers. Not as smooth nor pigmented with a dry brush so if you want to use a brush, make sure it is damp first. This product goes for $11.95.
Hello Kitty Mono Eyeshadow – Desert Dore
Desert Dore is probably my favourite item from the collection, it’s currently in my every day makeup rotation now 🙂 I love applying it, looks fantastic! And I use it in the inner corners as well 🙂 This product goes for $9.95.
Hello Kitty Eye Kohl – Noir Obscur
I really loved the packaging for this one, it reminded me of Chanel for some reason, Chanel handbags. Anyways, the staying power on this is good, lasted me the whole day with only a bit of fading and smudging. I did however find it a bit hard on my eye initially because of the sharp point, so don’t sharpen it too much else you might scratch your eyelid. This product goes for $9.95.
Hello Kitty Mascara – Dark Black
Eh, the mascara was probably one of the more disappointing items from the collection, it gave my lashes decent volume / length, but it left them a bit clumpy too, so I had to spend a bit of time trying to separate them with the wand. No tall feat if you have the time and patience, but I’d personally prefer an easier to use mascara. This product goes for $14.95.
Be tuned for Face / Other products coming in Part 2 🙂

Ahaha I know that feeling, the line is pretty good, but nothing in it was stand out product wise! And luckily it’s all relatively affordable 🙂
