It’s always hard to resist when new foundations are released, especially from such established brands such as Dior. I picked this up quite some time ago, but only recently got around to using it, and I’ve got to admit. I’m loving it!
The foundation is just beautiful, gives medium to full coverage, blends amazingly well into the skin and leaves your skin with a gentle glow afterwards which you can easily set with some powder if you prefer something more matte. One pump is enough to give your entire face very good coverage, you can try using two if you want absolute full coverage. I’d recommending building it up to keep your face looking natural and not too cakey.
Additionally, I picked up the concealer around the same time and it is officially one of my favourite concealers to use now! So pair the two together and expect to have completely flawless skin! I personally use the concealer almost daily without any foundation for a nice natural look.
Back to the foundation, I did find that closer towards the end of the day there can be a tendency for the makeup to settle into any major lines you may have. Not fine lines, but I have one line in the middle of my forehead from frowning that is pretty prominent (that I unfortunately still do exercise every day), and so far I’ve yet to find a foundation that doesn’t settle into that line, so just something to keep in mind.
All in all, I really do love this foundation! It’s one of the best high end foundations you could ask for and if you’re already a fan of other Dior foundations, this is definitely worth trying out. If you’re curious, I’m using shade 010 Ivory.
If you are keen, you can pick up a bottle for yourself at Nordstrom for $50USD or if you’re in Australia, from David Jones for $77AUD.
