Early last year I was reading Essie Button’s blog (as you do) and she mentioned a beautiful new neutral eyeshadow palette from Clinique called Neutral Territory. It was neutral, it was compact, travel friendly and the pigmentation was on point, how could I resist?
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get the exact same palette and instead walked away with Clinique’s Wear Everywhere Eyeshadow Palette in Sahara Sand Nudes ($65AUD / $36USD). No regrets.
It’s really difficult for me to compare neutral palettes because I feel like I’ve been going through so many amazing ones. So I’ll try and speak to this on its own. The first thing I love about this palette is how portable it is. This thing is ultra-thin and travel friendly. Think Urban Decay’s Naked Basic palettes for size comparison. This is all mirror plastic, thinner and just a bit longer. I love the mirror surface for doing quick makeup checks when needed without having to open the entire palette.
Size and packaging aside, this neutral palette contains 8 neutral shades total, 4 soft shimmer, 3 super shimmer and 1 matte shade. The quality for each shade is safe to say, amazing! The texture is creamy, pigmented and so easy to apply and wear.
I’m not going to say this is a must for every neutral lover, but I will say that if you do pick this up, then you were not be disappointed.
