The Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Stix come in 10 beautiful shades with a medium coverage glossy finish, they contain Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Squalane which are all products amazing for moisturising and keeping moisture locked in. As much as I would have loved to have pick up all 10 colours, I have to budget wisely and ended up with two shades I think I’d get a lot of use out of, Blaz’D Donut and Is It Fu$$y. These beautiful lipsticks are available from from Sephora Australia, Sephora USA or Ulta for $39AUD or $25USD.

I’m not usually a fan of scents with most of my products, but I really love the scent of these lipsticks. I’m not the best at describing scents but I’d say these have an almost fruity sweet vanilla scent. Not at all cheap or artificial, feels weirdly natural with a sugary side to it. It reminds me of some of the scents I’ve found in Japanese lipsticks, not too overpowering but strong enough to provide a bit of aromatherapy if that’s your kind of thing.
Application & Wear
These are my favourite kind of lipsticks, glossy, hydrating and lovely pigmentation. As well as the scent, the whole application process felt similar to a lot of the Japanese lipsticks I use and adore. Though I will say I found these lipsticks to be a little more on the softer side which makes me wonder how well (or how badly) these lipsticks might hold up in warmer weather, especially if you left your makeup bag in a hot car.
Application is not surprisingly beautiful, the lipstick glides on very smoothly. I was surprised with how strong the pigmentation is given how light the shades I picked up were (as this is often not the case for many other lipsticks of similar formula, they tend to appear very sheer0), but then again Fenty Beauty is pretty know for quality pigmentation to cater for a range of skin tones which I really appreciate. The end result is a beautiful high shine finish on the lips that feels amazing, I usually need a lip balm before I apply lipstick but you likely won’t need it for these unless your lips are exceptionally chapped and need time to hydrate before application to avoid having uneven flakey lips.
I’d say the only downside to application (and I’m nitpicking here) may be because of how glossy this formula is so (and as a result slippery) it’s easy to go over your lip lines so I’d go in with a little more care when applying.
In terms of wear, for this type of formula it was pretty good! But not surprisingly it wears down pretty fast especially once you start drinking or eating. To me this is just standard physics, these type of lipsticks by nature of how light they are to wear will wear down faster as opposed to a more dry formula that clings to your lips. I don’t mind at all, I’m more than happy to reapply and yeah, it’ll wear down the lipstick overall faster but again, this is the type of lipstick I love the most (and I struggle to finish a lipstick anyways given how often I’m reviewing new items)
Overall Thoughts
If you haven’t gathered from my post, I love these lipsticks! I prefer the way Is It Fu$$y looks on me than Blaz’D Donut as I think the deeper shade compliments my skin tone better. I’m so tempted to pick up more shades, but also at $39AUD a pop it’s not a cheap purchase so I’m holding back until there is a big sale which Sephora tend to have every couple of months. If you love moisturising, glossy wet lipsticks, then this is 100% worth giving a go!
