October is here! (Well almost), which is the month of Halloween, a cosplayer’s dream month 😀 Too bad I’m kinda too old to be trick-a-treating…. >_>
On to the products! It was a good month in terms of skin care 😀
Laura Mercier Skincare – Face Polish
Currently my favourite exfoliator~! The smell is not to my taste (roses?), but my skin feels amazing after! I’m definitely planning to buy this again once I finish off the other 3-4 exfoliators I have that I need to finish off first! (Determined to only ever own one at a time!)
Estee Lauder CyberWhite Brilliant Cells – Full Spectrum Brightening Essence
A milky brightening serum, lovely to use but didn’t notice any bit of difference to my skin at all.
Shiseido White Lucent brightening Cleansing Foam
Great foaming cleanser, I mostly used my Clarisonic with this and for the most part it was a great cleanser, though probably just a tiny bit too drying for my skin.
Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Balancing Softener Enriched
Brightening toner, that didn’t do any brightening that I could tell at all, but still felt lovely to use and great at removing the very last of my makeup.
MAC Cleanse Off Oil
It did it’s job as a cleansing oil, but I really didn’t like the strong citrus smell. I prefer a cleansing oil with no smell.
Shu uemura Skin Purifier – Fresh *
Another great cleansing oil, but not my favourite because I felt like it left a strange slippery residue on my face afterwards, and there was just a very faint scent. As I said before, I prefer something with zero scent.
Clinique All About Eyes
I really love using this eye moisturiser because it leaves my skin at the moment feeling really soft and well moisturised. However long term I noticed absolutely no changes.
SK-II Facial Treatment Repair C
Didn’t really have enough to know if this made a difference, but it was a clearly watery gel with no noticeable smell.
SK-II Signs Wrinkle Serum
Dabbed this on any areas of my face were I was trying to prevent wrinkles. Not idea if it works or not, but it did sting a little :/ Will not be purchasing a full size thanks.
Lancome Oscillation Mascara – Black *
Great mascara, love using this, but have no use for the oscillation feature. You can read my review here.
e.l.f Peach Matte Eyeshadow
Depotted from a larger e.l.f palette, just great to know I can finish eyeshadows 😀
Moroccan Oil *
Love this! My hair incredibly soft after each use~ I will definitely be going for a full sized version once I finish off the other hair oil samples I have 🙂

I have tryed the “Clinique All About Eyes” too, and came to the exact same conclusion – it feels nice to apply, but it dosn’t really do anything. In fact, thats how I feel about most of the moisturizers and creams I have tryed, I have so far only come across one product that really did something for me (noticeable), and thats a lipbalm. Maybe I’m trying the wrong products?
I know right? I felt sooo accomplished! Admittedly it is just a matte tone skin colour shadow, but still! It felt great 😀
Potentially! Sometimes you really need to mix n match and try lots of different products until you find the one that best suits you!
if that moroccan oil is supposed to be argan oil, you can get 100% argan oil (organic) from Melvita, a french company that has branches in hong kong as well. They have a 50 ml bottle for around about $30 aussie.
