This has been a long time coming, the last time I filmed something this intense was my Doppelganger video. Since then I always knew I wanted to do more videos like that, but honestly when you work full time, spare time is just not something you have 🙁
Never the less, since then both Surfaced Studio and I were lucky enough to find support in the very talented duo that is Violet and Jimmy (or as I call them VJ which always makes them giggle). Together we spent 6 grueling hours in a cold car park and filmed a Halloween video 🙂
Most of the day I was uncomfortable, I couldn’t see properly and was constantly cold and hungry (two things I couldn’t satisfy with all that makeup on), but still it was one of the most rewarding and fun experiences I’ve had! And I know between the four of us we already have a ton more ideas planned for the future 😀
Jimmy has the patience of a saint I swear, he pretty much filmed the entire video for us, played Victim #1 and did the captain voice over. He also took all the photos you see of this shoot~ This man + camera = gold!
Violet took all the behind the scenes footage which I’ll link as soon as she uploads it~ She also helped a lot with camera work and lighting, and was my delicious Victim #2 :9
Toby of course played the role of the Zombie Hunter and did all the post processing work, plus music and sound effects. Seriously, I know this sounds biased, but this guy is absolutely amazing.
As for lil ol me, I played the part of the hungry Zombie, did all the makeup and manage to scrap together a makeup tutorial for you all~
If this video represents anything, that would be teamwork!

This is fab! How funny that I also did a zombie makeup tutorial for Halloween, but mine is completely different. It’s so cool to see all the different varieties of zombie makeup. I really enjoyed watching this. Well done!
