So! I didn’t think I could manage this, took me two weeks to edit this video.
If there is one thing I’ve learnt about working in Hong Kong is how different the attitude and environment is. The hours are much longer, the politics are a whole different ball game, which leaves me both physically and emotionally exhausted at the end of each day. So you can imagine coming home to slave away at a laptop, no matter how much I love video editting is the last thing on my mind.
Obviously I filmed this whilst I was still in Australia, I didn’t have any particular theme or ideas for this look, more just mucking around with my eye liners 🙂 Either way enjoy the video, and thank you so much for the support thus far~
It’s a fantastic experience living and working in Hong Kong, but it’s still tough! So thanks for always being there <3 You guys make my stay here a lot better 🙂 Love you all <3

<3 <3 Thank you, that means a lot to me! I often feel like such a child trying to adjust to all these changes, I'm sure plenty of people adjust much easier and faster than me! So I really appreciate your kind words 😀

<3 <3 <3 You know exactly how I feel, though I'd probably cope better if I had my BF here with me 🙁 We had our 8 year anni yesterday and I spent it alone whilst he was out with friends 🙁

Ooh the swirly thingies are so pretty!
Yeah the working style is very different in Asia compared to Australia. Goodness knows how many times I was burnt out from the stress of work and politics. Hang in there, Celina. It’s a good experience nevertheless 🙂
Missing you already and can’t wait for you to be back!
Celina says
Thank you 😀 <3 Oh yes, you would be the expert given all your experience so you know exactly how I feel 🙂 It is a good experience, lots of learning to be had! Miss you heaps <3 🙂

OMG! Ok, firstly I need to confess that I haven’t been watching your videos since the first one, which is why I’m completely impressed with this video! Disclaimer: I’m not saying the first one was bad, ok? But I’m blown away by the editing and narration in this one. It’s completely on the beat. And the flickering light on the last scene with the finished look was great! You just get better and better!
Celina says
Awww, way to make me blush and smile cheek to cheek 😀 Thank you so much! I really love love making videos, almost as much as I love makeup! Given that you are such a long time reader and were with me pretty much from the start, for you to say such wonderful things about my videos means the world to me!
Tanya says
I say how I feel, and the way you accept feedback is remarkable. You’re always gracious and you always want to improve. I keep coming back!
