I’ve never seen myself so tanned before but I think the tanned skin actually suits me! (Not that I plan to start tanning, no no! Natural skin tone FTW) I almost feel like Iβm playing a character with this look, but the look is rather provocative / out there, at least for my personal every day tastes. But yeah, thatβs what I love about cosplay and makeup, being able to completely transform yourself~
Still, I could so imagine wearing this look to a Salsa club at night~ π
I altered these cheap earrings from Diva since I don’t have pierced ears. Bought a stack of stuff there for literally under $30 that I plan to use for costumes and future looks~ I don’t normally wear jewellery in my everyday life so the cheaper the better XD; (So long as it lasts long enough to take photos)

Face
After priming your face, if you have a light skin tone try and use a slightly darker foundation. Instead of using normal powder, use a light bronzer to set the foundation all over your face, neck, chest and shoulders.
Cheeks
I used a medium bronzer and highlighter to contour your face. Add a medium pink blush to your cheeks, it should appear very subtle, like the pink is just glowing.
Eyes
Prime your lids, then use a yellow cream shadow all over the inner half of your lid and brow bone. Blend a blue cream shadow to the outer corner of your eyes and under the eye. With a green cream shadow, blend it all the way up and out towards the hairline and past the brows. Set all the cream shadow with a matching pigment.
Line your upper lash and water line with a black liner, and draw on some lashes above and below your eye. Shape your brows with a dark brow pencil.
Curl your lashes and apply two coats of mascara.
Lips
Line and fill in your lips, fill in with a light pink lipstick, then apply a darker pink lipstick to the center of your lips to add dimension.

Yeahh, I imagine some sort of Mexican night sort of thing. Open floor with tables all around? YOU IN THE MIDDLE DANCING AWAYY π
I love the fact that cosplay / makeup etc gives that ability of being able to become someone else just for that moment *-* !
Celina says
Yes! That’s what I love about makeup and cosplay π Transforming! Makes me think I would have LOVED to be a Sailor Senshi…. if they were real XD;

Hair! You should included a section on how you did the hair! Like, how did you get that much height?!
Celina says
Really? Ooh okay! I’ll have to work on putting together a tutorial, though it probably isn’t done very well π the “inside” hair was teased and curled onto two rollers, then the top layer just hair sprayed into place XD;

Wow I love this look. The colours are gorgeous and I have to try applying eyeliner like that which will be a stretch as I can’t even apply it in a straight line, haha. What kinda tan did you have, real or fake?
Celina says
Thank you! π It’s completely fake, I used a ton of bronzer which unfortunately wasn’t completely smudge-proof so my clothes picked up a little π
