This is not a new look, in fact I did a Geisha look back last year when I was toying with the idea of starting up my own beauty / cosplay blog. But I wanted to make a few tweeks and officially add it as a chapter to my Book of Fables series.
The top and makeup really don’t go together, if I had any foresight I would have use purple makeup instead π Still, the top was from a Hinoto cosplay I was making a few years ago for the World Cosplay Summit (but my then cosplay partner left me high and dry and so the project got scrapped) at least I’m glad I could use a part of it for this look and who knows, maybe one day finish it too? π
Sorry for the messy hair π I did this look at a friend’s house during a Rock Band 3 party and forgot to bring any hair styling products π

Recipe
Face
Apply primer to the entire face, then with a brush or sponge apply a white foundation. I had to do this step 3 times to get the white intensity I was going for. Then set with clear or white powder.
Using a electric pink blush powder, apply the powder starting from your temples all the way to your cheek bones.
Eyes
Darken your brows with a black gel liner, then fade out with the same blush powder used before. Apply the blush to your lower lash line and on your crease and lids. Blend it out.
Line your upper lash line with the gel liner and wing it out. Curl your lashes, apply your mascara and then false lashes.
Lips
Line your lips with a red / dark pink lipliner, then apply a magenta lipstick. Next using the same blush powder, pat on the powder to your lips to mattify them. Lastly, apply a red blush to the center of your lips.
