I think most people obsessed with high end beauty will know what a NARS powder blush is like. For the most part they are pigmented, without being too over the top. Still just a couple of soft dabs in the pan is all you need to achieve a soft flushed appearance to the cheek, one of the reasons I love these blushes. Unless of course the colour is very light, then you will probably need to invest a little more elbow grease to getting the perfect glow.
This particular shade called Outlaw was part of their Fall 2012 collection, it’s a soft rose tone with golden shimmer, but sometimes I think it appears more like burnt apricot. Strange, I don’t feel like it photographs that accurately but perhaps that’s just me.
I’m pretty undecided on whether I think it suits my skin tone or not, I can definitely wear this colour, but not sure I like it on me. Given its pigmentation I think it could work for darker skin tones as well.
If you’re interested, you can purchase this for $28US or $49AU at a number of different places such as Nordstrom, NARS Online, Kiss and Makeup NY or Mecca Cosmetica.
