NARS’ Tinted Moisturiser was released earlier in the year, and I thought thanks to the high SPF factor and the fact that we are officially well into Spring, this would be a great day time moisturiser that could give me a little coverage.
Generally I would say this is a good tinted moisturiser for people who lean a little more towards drier skin as I found the moisturiser left my skin feeling slightly oily even after a few hours had past. I found the best way to combat that was to pat my face with a light translucent powder.
What did impress me was the level of coverage given this is suppose to be just a tinted moisturiser. It’s between light to medium coverage and blends into the skin wonderfully with either a synthetic brush or your fingers.
The formula itself it a little bit thicker than my average moisturiser, so I personally don’t think I would use this as a replacement for my regular moisturiser, but would likely use it more in place of a foundation.
One thing I did find a little strange is the scent of this product. It smells like lemon. Or rather artificial lemons. Strange, yes?
Not a bad product, but not the best. So take it or leave it, once I’ve finished this off (which I intend to) I will likely move on to something else. You can purchase this for $42US online, I haven’t seen it available in Australia yet unfortunately π
