Before I left for Hong Kong, Lilpil from Things I Love requested I bring her back one thing, this mascara. I figured if she loved it so much, maybe I will do? So I picked one up for myself.
I’m not sure what to say about this mascara, despite claims online this feels like a purely lengthening mascara. I definately didn’t get any volume. But if you’re look for beautiful long lush natural lashes, this is the perfect mascara. You can see from the wand how the mascara’s formula naturally forms “spikes”.
Most of the time if I’m patient with application and make sure all lashes are separate (unlike the photo above), no one can even tell I am wearing mascara. When my co-worker in Hong Kong was wearing this the whole time, I had no idea. I was just incredibly jealous of her naturally long lashes.
This mascara definately gives very natural results, and is buildable. However I would only apply one coat, any more and it starts to look clumpy and you lose the “natural” look.

Ooh this looks interesting!
Although, hmm, it is noticeable that most fibre mascaras that I’ve seen only lengthen rather than thicken? Idk ! Hmm

Oh really? I don’t have a ton of knowledge around fibre mascaras so no idea, but that does make sense!

How does it come off? My gripe with the fiber mascaras are the little flakies!
Celina says
So I take my showers at night, so what I do it left the water run on my face a little first and then I gentle “wipe” my lashes, or for fibre mascaras I gently pull my lashes to pull the mascara off. The plus side is a mascara like this won’t smudge, but it can flake if you get them wet 🙁
