If there is one beauty product I go through like bread it’s mascaras, in fact I have a bit of a backlog of mascaras I need to test out and review! Anyways, on to the review.
CustomEyes was released a few months ago, I spotted it at Priceline and picked it up when a special ran (I always try my best to buy everything on special at Priceline given how often they run). As for the mascara, it’s average.
The mascara wand comes in two settings by twisting the handle, Length & Drama and Length & Definition, the brush changes it’s appearance. But as you can see in the images above, there isn’t a huge difference between the two, atleast not from what I can tell.
Generally, the mascara gives pretty good length and volume on both settings and I don’t experience much if any smudging throughout the day. However I’ve had mascaras that give better length and volume, plus I found that this particular tube dried up pretty fast đ What was strange is that the formula still seemed okay, but the brush + application felt very dry and took a few dips to get enough product on my lashes.
Take it or leave it, but I certainly will be moving on and this isn’t a mascara I’d highly recommend. It’s still a good mascara, but I know you can get better for a lower price.

I think these types of mascaras are a total gimmick, and a bad one at that – I won the 1,2,3 Looks one from Rimmel and it’s honestly the worst mascara I’ve ever tried D: even on the lowest setting I had to spend 5 minutes wiping excess product off the brush. I thought this Revlon one looked a little more promising though, because they had a different take on the “settings”.

Omgosh yes! I had the exact same problem with the Rimmel mascara (I thought it was just me cause everyone else seemed to love it!). I agree, it really is just a gimmick đ

thanks for the review. i always though revlon’s mascaras don’t do much and overpriced for what it doesn’t do. i’m glad i didn’t get it when it was on special.

My pleasure, and I’d have to agree! To me Revlon is known more for their quality foundations, but I’ve yet to try a Revlon mascara which impressed me.
