L.A. Colors is not a brand found locally in Australia, I suspect they may be a drug store brand found primarily in America. I’ve been on a bit of a “baked eyeshadow” kick lately, so I snapped up a few of these palettes, I will hopefully get around to reviewing the others soon.
I will admit that the pigmentation on this is pretty amazing, especially when wet. If you insist on applying these dry, I’d even recommend using clean fingers to properly pat down the powder as it does tend to get a little flaky.
For the Equinox palette, I loved that the shades were relatively neutral π The only issue with wearing these daily to say a corporate job is the amount of shimmer in these. Just a bit too much.
That’s the down side of these palettes, since the powders tend to be a little flaky, they can leave you with a very messy palette. Plus, being a baked palette does mean if shattered it’d be almost impossible to repair these shadows into their original pans.
Certainly an interesting and cheap palette that one could play around with, but not something I’d recommend as being essential to anyone’s collection.

Ooooh I assume the swatches are dry? They’re so pigmented π these are actually in a tonne of drugstores here on the Gold Coast (or at least 2 close to me anyway, haha) but they never seem to have testers out so I haven’t tried them.

Yes! Swatched dry π I always swatch my shadows dry, I wouldn’t want to apply them wet XD Oh wow, I had no idea they were sold locally in Australia O_O I’ve never seen them here in Melbourne! I have 4 more of these palettes to review π But posts won’t be coming out till later next month π Too many products to review, so little time! Ah!
