This seems to have become quite a staple among many of the lovely people in the beauty world, so I knew I had to see what all the fuss was about! The product was initially provided for me in my MBBE goodie bag, but at the time I thought it was a simple anti-puffy / anti-wrinkle eye cream and so I passed it to my mum.
It wasn’t until I saw the reviews online that I also realised it was a concealer. So I went out and purchased a 2nd one for myself 🙂 Which safe to say is one of the downsides, I can’t share this product with anyone but me. Despite that, I can officially say I love it! Though I actually don’t use it as a concealer, but as a selective foundation.
I use this for selective application, which is a fantastic way to make it look like your skin is flawless and smooth, without actually applying product over the entire face. (I dislike wearing makeup I can “feel” if that makes sense) Just apply it any areas of redness or discolouration, for me that would be around my nose and inner cheek area. Blend out with my ring finger and my skin looks flawless, the formula is silky and applies like a dream. Set it with a light face powder and you’re done~ If you need heavier coverage then I’d recommend a foundation.
The coverage I get from this product is relatively sheer, but build-able to light if needed. It can be used under the eyes to cover dark circles, which I have used from time to time, though generally I don’t conceal my dark circles unless I’m doing a shoot. If you have serious dark circles then I’d recommend getting a more opaque cream concealer.
The cooling sensation from the roller ball is a great “wake me up” in the mornings, it feels very refreshing.
The product comes in two shades, one of the cons, but I suspect the reason is since this product is so sheer it is versatile to use over a range of skin tones and shades. I’d recommend this product for someone looking for a natural sheer coverage, either to use as a concealer or foundation, I love using this 🙂

Hey, thanks for the review! I didn’t know this was a concealer either, thanks so much! It looks really good, I’ve been really into sheer and lightweight stuff, so I’ll probs give this a try sometime soon 🙂

My pleasure!! I can’t wait to see what your thoughts are 😀

I like this, but agree with you it’s very natural, sheer coverage, not really a concealer in my opinion, but works well if you having not so horrible days. The colour for me is a bit too yellow and dark, but I still use it. And I love how it feels on the skin.
Celina says
Yes, very sheer indeed! I wish they had more of a colour range, that would be great~ Like you, it’s a bit too yellow for me skin so once I’ve finished using it, I might venture forth and find something different to use 🙂

Looks pretty nice, especially great for brightening the eyes 🙂
Celina says
Indeed, a tad too dark for my own skin, but it’s still better than sporting my natural dark circles hehe

thanks for the review. i didn’t know it’s a concealer too! always thought it’s just an eyecream with some marketing ploy about the roller balls. with its sheer coverage i doubt it will hide my serious dark circles.
Celina says
Surprising yeah? I don’t think I’ve ever seen your el natura before, so I refuse to believe you are anything but naturally stunning 🙂
coco says
well… you can see my i-forgot-to-use-concealer look in my wnw creme liner review. my dark circles are BAD!
Celina says
Aww, I really don’t think they looked that bad, I actually think you look rather sultry in those photos 😀
Belle says
Wow I always see this and want to get it but just pass it because I figure since it’s from the drug store it probably won’t be as great. I will definitely check it out. I’ve been getting less sleep lately and the under eye circles are bothering me eek!
Thank you for your sweet comments!!
XO,
Belle

Hi, what shade was this? Thanks!
Celina says
I can’t remember the name, but it was the lightest shade (there are only two available in Australia)
