I’ve seen a couple of other beauty bloggers doing this series where they talk about the products they have finished for the month, along with a couple of their thoughts on the product~ I thought it was a fun idea and wanted to give it a shot too, I’m considering doing a monthly favourites post too… or video, huh, maybe when I get over my anxiety over talking to a camera hehe.

OPI Original Nail Envy
Used this as a base coat for almost 2 years, don’t really see what all the hype is about, this didn’t make my nails stronger. My nails tend to chip easily on their own, and using this made no difference.

Don’t have much to say at the moment, I was actually provided a full sized version at MBBE last year and am only now starting to work through it, no visible results, but it does feel nice?

Lovely mascara! Makes my lashes look nice and plump without smudging, but doesn’t give great length and dries out pretty fast.
And that’s it for the month of April~ You can be sure most of my “empties” posts are going to be more focused on skin care products just because I go through them much faster, but I hope you’ve found my mini reviews helpful π

i tend to empty my skin care products too. i don’t remember if i have ever emptied any makeups.
Celina says
Mascaras I probably have empties a few, not sure if they dried out first tho… and then this nail polish base is probably the first legit makeup item I’ve emptied!

I’ve been wanting to do an empties post but I keep throwing out my containers! I like reading reviews on items that bloggers have emptied because at least you know it’s been tested well over a period of time rather than just once or twice.
Celina says
Hehe, I used to do that too, now I have a little bag next on my desk where all empty containers go, then I chuck them out once I’ve taken the photo for the empties post π
I agree, I find them so much more insightful, especially because when reading reviews it’s hard to tell whether the person really has given the product a fair go.
