Second post on my Gucci review spree 🙂 I have to admit to being pretty blown away by the quality of the Gucci cosmetic range so far in terms of colours (less on the bases). Though a lot less impressed with the price point 🙁
Let’s talk about quality first, this blush is extremely pigmented. I only needed to press my brush into the pan once to achieve the pigmentation you see on my face above. To be honest the first time I tested out this blush, I made the mistake of swirling my brush (as I usually do) and ended up with essentially clown cheeks. It wasn’t a pretty sight, so definitely to take care when applying at least this particular shade of blush as it is very pigmented. Not sure this is the case with the other shades (though you can be sure I’ll be testing them out eventually!)
In terms of scent, there really isn’t one. If anything, it kind of reminded me of flour? Strange, but I actually like that there is no scent associated with this.
However if you ask me whether this is worth the money, I’d say at least in comparison to the foundation this is more worth the price point. It’s certainly a very high quality blush, given its pigmentation it will take you quite some time to use it all up. But it’s a pretty subjective decision whether you personally would pay for a blush this expensive. As a beauty blogger with expensive taste, I can see myself purchasing more shades in the future.
If you’re based in Australia and are keen on picking one up too, I used a mail forwarding service to purchase mine online for $49USD.
