I’m not sure why, but over the last couple of months I’ve had a strange obsession with white nail polish. It reminds me of a French manicure, but nowhere near the effort involved! For a while now I’ve been using a tiny bottle of OPI Alpine Snow, which I love and is perfect for travel, unfortunately it’s starting to dry up and is half empty now đ So like any respectable beauty blogger, I saw this as the perfect opportunity to look for more polish to play with đ
Cue Chanel Le Vernisâ Eastern Light. A lot of people are going to think shelling out of a Chanel polish for a simple white polish is a waste of money, and they are probably right. Donât get me wrong, this is a beautiful polish and the formula is lovely! But if youâre looking to get value for money, then you certainly donât need to be going down the Chanel path for a pretty generic shade. Generally speaking, for the average person, Iâd only recommend going down the luxury road if they have a particular shade you couldnât find anywhere else (FYI Iâm not the average person when it comes to beauty⌠clearlyâŚ)
That aside, the formula for this is amazing, two coats is more than enough to achieve full opacity. Unfortunately without a top coat there is a tendency to start chipping the day after, so definitely seal this up with some top coat.
