We’ve come to the end of yet another month, just one more month till the end of 2014! It’s been quite the year~ This time I’ll only be bringing you empties since I plan to put together a Favourites of 2014 video at the end of December, basically going through all the products I’ve featured on the blog / used in videos that I love from this year~ 🙂 Hope you enjoy the video!
Maybelline the Falsies Volum Express – Flared
Without a doubt, I will always have one of these in my collection~ It’s the budget version of LancĂ´me Hypnose, only just a bit thicker. Still amazing!

MaxFactor False Lash Effect Mascara *
Honestly can’t say this did much for my lashes, not much volume nor length. I’d call this a pretty average to maybe slightly below average mascara.

theBalm What’s Your Type Mascara – The Body Builder *
If I were to rank this against the two mascaras above, I’d say it sits in the middle. Certainly not a bad mascara by any stretch of the imagination, but it never did stand out as much as mascaras I would call my favourite. So while I personally wouldn’t purchase one for myself, I can’t condemn it either. If you’re a theBalm fan, give it a shot and see what you think!

Essence Lash & Brow Gel – Clear
I’ve been through 3 tubes of this now, so it’s clearly not a bad product. But I have gotten to the point where I’m a bit over having to wipe down the wand every single time I use it (plus the clear container always leaves me feeling grossed out after a few applications). Call me lazy, but the older I get, the less patient I become, and I’d rather use something that gets me out of the door faster. But if stuff like that doesn’t bother you, this is a great clear brow gel!

Biore UV Perfect Face Milk
The Biore facial sunscreen range is probably one of the best I’ve ever tried. However there is about 4-5 different types to choose from, and while this particular one is lovely (very liquid), I personally prefer the Watery Base formula instead. So I highly recommend this sunscreen, but I won’t re-purchase it.

Origins Checks and Balance Frothy Face Wash
This is a pretty popular cleanser and I can see why, it does a great job at what it’s supposed to do. But I’m just not a fan of herbal scents that come with a lot of products claiming to be “natural”, and so I can’t see myself reinvesting in this again.

Sukin Botanical Hydration Booster
One of my favourite facial oils, I’m on to the 3rd bottle of it now. It does exactly as the name would suggest, give your dry skin a great boost of hydration. I like to mix this in with an anti-wrinkle serum most nights to help speed up my skin care routine.

Vera Wang Princess Foamy Body Polish
This came as part of a gift set when I purchased the perfume bottle, and not surprisingly it smells exactly like the actual perfume. So if you’re a fan of the Princess scent, then you will probably love this. I didn’t find it did much in terms of exfoliation, it was more a body wash than anything else. The perfume, whilst lovely, was a little too overpowering for me.

Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil
Cleansing oils, my obsession 🙂 There is nothing quite as satisfying as melting away a face full of makeup at the end of a long day. This particular cleansing oil is pretty amazing, not as thick as the Shu uemura oils, but I’ve never experienced any stinging what so ever when I use this. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be picking up another bottle, hopefully when I next visit the Duty Free section of an airport 🙂

MAC Brush Cleanser
Nothing much to say here, it’s pretty much an essential to spot cleaning my brushes. I decant it into a little spray bottle to avoid wasting too much product. For the most part I only use it for small eye brushes or face brushes if I’m super lazy, as I tend to do a deep clean my face brushes once a week with shampoo instead… (realistically more like once every two / three weeks…)

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion + *
My favourite day time moisturiser of all time! I use the one designed for very dry skin~ Leaves my skin feeling amazing and hydrated, plus my makeup just glides on without a hitch.

Matrix Total Results Sleek – Shampoo *
Not a bad shampoo, I’ve had worse, and I’ve had better. Nothing about it really stood out to me, so I can’t justify purchasing it for myself.
