How adorable is this blush? And can you believe it was from Clinique too? This is something I’d expect more from maybe Dior or Lancôme, but Clinique? Colour me impressed!
When I first saw them launch in the states I snapped one up immediately (I’m a sucker for packaging as you know) I was very tempted to get more than just one shade, but as I was ordering online, I made sure to just restrict myself to one first, and made sure it was a coral shade since coral seems to work best with my skin tone. I can safely say I will definitely be purchasing more!
Stunning design aside, I love that the design is so deep into the product so just a few uses isn’t going to cause the flower to disappear. You probably need to make your way about half way down the pan till the flower design disappears which I love.
The blush is on the harder side in terms of powder, so you need a pretty firm brush to pick up the product. Nothing as harsh as foundation synthetic brushes, just a regular powder blush brush, but I wouldn’t go with anything too soft. I tried a very soft brush and it picked up virtually no product.
Pigmentation is pretty amazing, a few swipes with my brush is all I need for a pretty heavy application to one cheek, if I wanted something subtle I could easily cover both sides. The colour range isn’t anything mind blowing, but they are perfectly “agreeable” colours, does that make sense? The colour range is standard, agrees with a large range of skin types and ultimately if you only have 4 shades in your blush range, you want to go with the most common colours possible. I don’t think you’d be disappointed by any of these!
Highly recommend this blush, I love using it and can’t wait to get more.
If you’re interested, you can purchase these online for $21USD or $40AUD in Australia.
