Admittedly I’ve never been a massive fan of NARS eye shadow palettes, their single eye shadows are fine, but palettes? I don’t know, NARS have been consistently disappointing in that area for me. Their eye shadows are either not pigmented enough or so pigmented I get a mountain of fall out on my cheeks 🙁
So don’t ask me why I decided to give this palette a whirl despite my pervious experiences. I’ll blame it on “things I need to do as a beauty blogger” combined with the fact that this is a neutral palette…. so realistically I could use it for everything!
Previous experiences aside, this is a palette you need to try if neutrals are your thing! The entire set comes with a six eye shadow palette, eye shader brush and a mini eye primer. The brush is only so so and unless you don’t have any existing eye shadow brushes, is worth a miss. The eye shadow primer is as you may already know my HG! So having a travel sized version is just a treat 🙂
But let’s focus on the eye shadow palette, since that is really the star of the show! The quality is quite amazing! It’s a real stand out product in comparison to previous NARS palettes, the shadows are wearable, pigmented and blend out well. The range of colours are perfect for taking any look from day to night, and the darkest brown shadow works perfectly as an eyeliner.
All in all, worth it if you’re a neutral fan and love NARS 🙂
