As part of Chanel’s Summer 2013 collection they released three new limited edition shades for their Glossimer line: Eden a bright pink shade, Envolee a peachy orange shade and Zephyr a soft rosy pink shade.
These glosses have a beautiful shimmer and give off a very high shine, they are however quite sticky making them not the best for windy days.
They also aren’t known for having the best pigmentation, which is evident in the swatches below. These glosses look amazing in the tube and on the wand, but when swatched you can see how sheer the gloss really is. And when applied to the lips? Barely any pigmentation shows up, which to me means these glosses act more like a top coat over a colour rich lipstick.
All in all, the quality of these glosses don’t disappoint, however if you’re looking for something with a bit more colour pay off then perhaps either try a different shade or look else wear. It really depends what you are seeking for in a gloss.
If you’re interested, you can purchase these glosses online for $29.50US. Alternatively you can also pick them up from any local Chanel counter at Myer or David Jones.
