I remember hearing about this product a few months ago, it was essentially a new foundation that Lancôme has released that came with a matching corrector. I thought it was honestly a bit gimmicky at first, especially between Stila had released something similar not longer before it.
But when I saw it pop up on Harrods I decided to give it a shot, couldn’t hurt right? So very glad I did because this is one of my favourite new foundations!
Let’s talk about the foundation first (because it’s my favourite!), I’d say the coverage for this is around medium, but buildable. It blends into the skin seamlessly and feels very light. I love the coverage it gives, it’s like my skin but better. And it leaves a soft gentle glow to your skin. This formula contains LR 2412, one of the main ingredients in their Visionnaire range. This means prolonged use of this foundation is suppose to improve the condition of your skin.
I can’t personally vouch for that, I don’t use foundation everyday but I did make sure to use it as often as I could and didn’t notice much change to my skin. But keep in mind currently Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector is part of my everyday night time skincare routine.
I also love that the foundation comes with a pump for hygiene purposes and has no scent.
The next product is the corrector, which I’m less thrilled by. When I first tried this out, I found the corrector to be quite creamy. It reminded me of Bobbi Brown’s correctors only less pigmented. It managed to cover my dark circles (which are not that obvious to begin with), but not strong enough to cover beauty marks. However after a few weeks I’ve noticed the corrector started to dry up a little, which isn’t a big deal because once the product touches my skin it melts down again, but clearly it’s not as great as the foundation.
All in all, I still can see myself repurchasing this product again! I see this foundation sitting on the same shelf as my other favourite foundations.
If you’re curious, the shade I’m using is 005 and it matches my skin perfectly. (I’m NC15-20 in MAC)
If you’re interested, you can purchase this either in store at the Lancome counters at Myer or David Jones for $65AU or you can purchase it online from Harrods for £36.
