First I need to apologise for the quality of some of the photos lately, I realised I had the wrong setting on my camera when taking these (and a bunch of others), hence the poor quality. All fixed now, and I realise I could have fixed these in post production, but unfortunately I just didn’t have the time to invest (even though the perfectionist in me is screaming). I do little to no post for most of my photos for reviews, I only adjust the lighting to ensure the colours are accurate so I never budget much time in my schedule to edit my product review photos 馃檨
Anyways on to the product at hand! Another product from another Spring 2013 collection, this time Lanc么me 馃檪 Ah, how I love Spring collections! Makes me sad that we are slowly coming to the end of Summer in Australia though 馃檨 It just flew by!
I have to admit that the packaging for this blush really drew me in! It’s very different from the typical black Lanc么me compacts, and I love that you can remove the mirror as a stand alone item if needed. Great for lip stick touch ups!
The blush itself is a gorgeous colour, and has a beautiful design, however quality wise? Really depends what you’re looking for, I wouldn’t call this blush pigmented. I didn’t have to work that hard to get colour on my cheeks, but I did have to go back a couple of times to build it up, as opposed to many other blushes I know that have incredible pigmentation.
Which is great if you’re going for a more natural look too. Just keep in mind that the metallic pink overspray is just overspray, a couple of swipes and it completely disappears.
All in all, I love the colour. It’s a beautiful coral peach that blends beautifully into my skin tone, though I’d only recommend it for people with lighter skin tones, can’t see it working on anyone with very tanned skin.
If you’re interested, this blush goes for $49US from Nordstrom.
