Though my limited experience with Giorgio Armani, I’ve so far found their lipsticks to be some of my favourites. Soft, pigmented and creamy 🙂
However admittedly this is the first “frost” finish lipstick I’ve tried from their range. I’ve mostly tried the more shiny creamy shades so this was a first for me. I’m personally not a huge fan of frosted lipsticks, but when I initially ordered this I had no idea that would be the case.
Either way I decided to give it a go, and wear it consistently over a few days to see how it would hold up. For a frosted lipstick, this was surprisingly good. I find most frosty lipsticks to be on the drier side, and if your lips aren’t naturally hydrated (and I suffer from dry lips), then the frosted look tends to accentuate the dry patches.
Given how nude the colour for this lipstick is. It’s hard to tell how much of it lasted or fade during the day, but I felt the need to reapply every few hours during the day, which isn’t too bad but not ideal either.
As I mentioned before, for a frosted lipstick this is pretty good. It does leave my lips feeling slightly tacky, but I wouldn’t go so far as to say it is drying. Personally I’m still a bigger fan of the creamy lipsticks, but that’s just me.
If you’re interested, you can purchase this online for $30US, again not entirely sure what the Australian price is 🙁
