Most of the time my everyday makeup drawer I’ll always have at least a white eyeliner pencil and a black eyeliner pencil. The two colours are so versatile that I really think they are a must for any makeup enthusiast.
If I have space, the next eyeliner I will make sure to include is a beige shade. They are perfect for wearing on the waterline to make your eyes look more open and awake without the harshness that comes with a white eyeliner.
I can’t remember which collection came out with this particular shade for Chanel, but I know it was a while back. This is a retractable pencil that comes with a sharpener at the end. Great if you need to sharpen the tip, though I personally don’t use it very much as I tend to prefer a bit of a blunt end for my personally uses (feels gentler on my waterline).
Quality is wise, this is nothing to run home and rave on about. It’s a good pencil, it does the job, but it’s not a very creamy formula, which means it takes a couple of swipes to get it to appear without tugging on your waterline too much.
Formula wise I really prefer Stila’s Kajal Eye Liner in Topaz instead, as the formula here is very creamy and just glides on without tugging at my skin at all. But Stila’s pencil does require you to sharpen it, as opposed to Chanel’s retractable pencil. So depends on what your preferences are.
Longevity, it does last a decent amount of time. Usually with pencils on my water line I feel the need to reapply every 2-3 hrs because of how much moisture there is. If you really don’t want to reapply then set it with some matching eyeshadow powder.
Unfortunately this is a limited edition shade, however most of my comments in this review were more around the quality rather than colour of this pencil. There are many other colours from this range to choose from!
