This palette reminds me of my first trip to the USA back in 2013. I was staying near the Beverly Center and I just so happened to timed my trip along with the 20% bi-annual sale Sephora has. So whilst there I naturally went a little crazy, what with the fact I was in Los Angeles and the AU dollar was so strong! I remember seeing this palette, I placed it in my basket, and then decided to put it back given the hefty price tag I was always paying!
Then I went home and immediately regretted it… deep huh?
So I made sure to snap up any other Laura Mercier palettes I could find throughout the years but I was always sad this was evaded me. And then! It came back! 😀 So I ordered it online the minute I saw it and I’m so happy I did~
The quality is amazing, just as I had imagined. It’s soft, pigmented and buttery. All elements of the perfect eyeshadow palette 😀
You can tell from the swatches that even the lighter shades are amazingly pigmented, the perfect indicator as to the quality of this palette. And with 12 different shades ranging from light to dark, cool to warm, you can pretty much create whatever look you need 🙂 All in all, I’m a happy camper and so glad I finally picked it up 😀
If you’re interested, you can pick this up for $55USD from Sephora.

Purple and neutrals yesss~
I saw vintageortacky’s review on the original which yeah looked so pretty, but I soo can’t afford this kind of price range.
P.S. if you didn’t know vintageortacky also did a comparison video on the old vs new eye artist palette
