About a year and a half ago I released a review on my still heavily used Prada Saffiano Tote and till this day it is still one of my most popular blog posts. So after further encouragement from friends and readers I’ve decided to slowly work through my bag collection and review each one with in depth photos to hopefully make it easier for those researching online ๐
I’m not 100% familiar with the bag range in Dior, some of the smaller models tend to change around quite quickly, but for this bag I actually purchased it back in 2013 when I was visit Las Vegas from the Dior boutique in the Caesars’ Palace.
Unlike the newer models it doesn’t come with as many smaller slots for cards, but it does have a large one inside the bag and one on the back. It also comes with an adorable pouch and key to lock your bags if you want (but let’s be honest, I don’t see it getting used that much).
The bag can be worn either on the shoulder or across your body depending on how you style the chain.
This is however lambskin, so definitely not a bag you can throw around. For those not familiar, lambskin is soft leather on the more delicate side, unlike Saffiano which is perfect I you need to be a little rough with your bags (aka me most days). The other issue I have is how small the inside is, it can’t really hold much more than your phone, small wallet and lipstick without potentially stretching the bag and ruining the structure. I would recommend investing into small card holders and tiny pouches if you want to carry more here.
All in all, I do love this bag and the colour is just my style! It’s certainly more a night time / popping out for a bite sort of bag and not something I’d even consider taking into the office for a full day of work ๐
