Following on from my earlier post regarding the beautiful eyeshadow palette from Dior’s Spring 2013 collection, I wanted to show you guys some of the lip products I purchased from the same collection π
The Dior Addict range is one of my favourite lip lines, mostly because the quality is always so creamy and pigmented. The packaging is beautiful, but not very practical, after all it is luxury π
The two shades I purchase, the first is called Candide, a creamy creme almost bubble gum pink colour. This shade has amazing pigmentation, as you can see below. It glided on like a dream, very few swipes needed, though I’m not completely convinced this particular shade suits me. It’s a bit too blue toned for my personal taste.
The second shade I purchased is called Espiegle, a darker pink shade with a bit of shimmer. It’s not as creamy nor pigmented as Candide, but to me it is a far more wearable shade in comparison. So naturally if I had to pick one I could see myself using on a regular basis, it would be Espiegle. Though I personally enjoy the texture and quality of Candide more.
So far I have not been let down by the Dior Addict range, like the Rouge Coco Shine, it is one of my favourite lip ranges π
If you’re interested, you can purchase these lipsticks for $31US each at Nordstrom.

Hi,
You live in Australia and you have referred to Nordstrom for buying stuff that you review and the prices in US$. Why not tell where to buy in Australia? And do you buy from the US? If yes, how?
Celina says
Hi, sure! I’ve mentioned it a few times already on the blog, but I do purchase my makeup from Nordstrom and have the package shipped to HopShopGo where it is redirected to me in Australia. I have no idea when this product comes out in Australia (or if it is out, I don’t have regular access to Myer / David Jones) nor do I know what the price is π I don’t go to Australian counters because they tend to be much more expensive than the price I pay for at Nordstrom, even when I include the additional shipping I pay. Hope that helps!

How much does it cost with hopshogo? E.g if you buy like ten makeup items, how much would they charge in all?
Celina says
Shipping amounts depend on the weight of your order. They have a table here: http://www.hopshopgo.com/hopshopgo/service-supportprime-shippingratesFuel.do?l=en&c=AU. But to give you an idea on weight, say I order around 5 -7 products, standard palette / lipstick etc. The shipping usually works out to be around $30-40AU. So it makes sense to order more to make up for the cost or order with friends to split the shipping costs (which I do often).
E.g) When I order a Chanel palette. It costs me $59US, which is around the same in AU dollars now. But at DJ/Myers, it costs around $90-100AU I think. So you can see how fast I end up saving money if I use this technique. I wish the prices in AU were lower because I’d much much rather buy local. But I wouldn’t be able to afford to feature so many products on this blog if it weren’t for this technique.

I would love to do that too only if I had someone to share the shipping costs with:) I have used parceliton.com.au for mail forwarding Lyka (owner) is very kind and her charges are reasonable. She charges $15 + shipping for one parcel and $2.5 to consolidate each additional parcel, like if you want to buy from different stores like sephora, saks fifth avenue, Nordstrom etc. But with this, I tend to spend much more than what I can afford. I have spent $2000+ in a month on makeup, when using mail forwarding service.
Thanx for your quick responses and I watched a couple of your vids, keep up the good work. Best of luck with our blog in future as well.
Regards, Mariam
