It’s been a while since I last mentioned Operation Simplify! (or Simplicity, I can’t seem to find a name I really like~!)
Time to move on to the next stage, which was planning out my outfits for the working week. I find most of my mornings pretty hectic, I tend to stay up far too late (around 1-2am) and find myself struggling to wake up to the sound of my alarm at 6:45am – 7am.
The photo above is my favourite outfit for this week!
To make my mornings just a little calmer, I’ve started planning out my work clothes for the week (only four outfits because the client I’m with currently has casual Fridays!).
My ritual now is every Sunday night, I’ll check the weather forecast for the week ahead, and then pick out clothes for each day to wear and hang them out on a little display rack in my bedroom. It makes each morning just that little bit simpler, and anything that helps me in the morning is worth doing!
Plus I just love seeing this display in my room, it just feels so luxurious, especially on days where the sun rays trickle in π Simple luxury!
What do you do to make your working mornings easier?
Where did you get the display rack from ?
Target! π
I do this as well. It makes getting ready in the morning a lot less stressful!
Agreed! π I love stress-free mornings! Helps me ease into the day~
Looking good Celina! We should do a photo shoot on the roof top some time π
Lol! That would be awesome π
I get up erlier ^^ No, honestly I’m really bad at makeing my morning eseyer… There just lazy ^^” I could use a little more simplicity too
Yes! Anything to help simplify my mornings!
Found your blog by googling “work outfits” in blogs — and I’m already in love! I absolutely detest getting ready for work, as I’m more of a casual girl and I hate fussy work clothes. But– planning outfits for the week is an amazing idea. It’s like how much less stressful it is to get to work if I make all of my lunches for that week on Sunday, too. I could cut my morning routine down by a TON by using your tip. Thank you!!
Thank you lovely <3 I really appreciate your comments, they mean a lot to me π I hope I can do more posts like this!
I’m trying to do a similar thing, but it’s a struggle on Sunday nights as the last thing I want to do is prepare for the week! I so far plan ahead one outfit, and set aside my lunch and make up.
Would love to see more of your work wardrobe, I’m trying to shop for more work clothes but I’m struggling. Last year I was at quite a casual workplace, so I have to build up my wardrobe a bit.
Oooh! That’s a fantastic idea! I might be an outfit for the working week post π
